We are proud to have been associated with many West End hits such as Oliver!, Whistle down the Wind, Singin’ in the Rain, Grease and Hobbit. We have supplied Danny la Rue’s pantos, and many of Stanley Baxter’s Christmas extravaganzas!
Props for operas have included Innes de Castro, Macbeth, Aida, Samson and Delilah, for Scottish Opera, and Raymond Gubbay’s Carmen.
For television, our props have been seen in such varied programmes as Basil Brush, Jackanory and Science Now. We were involved on many of the famous series – Nannies, Poldark, Juliet Bravo, Howards Way – and the classic serials - David Copperfield, Pickwick Papers, East Lynn, Vanity Fair, Martin Chuzzlewit.
You will have seen our work in such diverse commercials as the Lloyds Bank Teddy Bear, British Rail, Cheesy Snacks with Little and Large, Kellogs Cornflakes, and Mobil Oil, and we made the first successful Bertie Basset costumes.
We were delighted to be involved with the hugely successful film The Last Emperor.

We regularly supply the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford and London and for their world tours. Our torches are used by a wide selection of UK theatres and opera houses such as: Shakespeare’s Globe in London, Bristol Old Vic, Chichester Festival, Manchester’s three theatres, The Royal Opera House, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Scottish Opera, Royal Lyceum Edinburgh, Irish National Theatre and Opera Ireland, Welsh National Opera, National Youth Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse, and many other professional companies.
Theatre and Music Colleges, universities, schools, Cathedrals, numerous amateur opera and drama companies throughout the British Isles, several weddings (but no funerals yet!), promotions and conferences – have all found their productions or events enhanced by our products.
Firebrand torches have been used in Australia, Eire, Thailand, Spain, Canada, several States of America, Greece, South Africa, South America, Russia, Germany and no doubt others we can’t remember! Our torches “lit” the Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flame, Evita, Carmen and Oliver! international tours.
